Adherents to the United Nations Global Compact since 2010
The company has an explicit and public commitment to respecting human rights in all territories where it operates, with particular attention to the freedoms and rights of vulnerable groups, including indigenous populations, women, children, people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, and migrant workers, among others.
Furthermore, SEMI promotes the extension of this respect to its relationships with third parties. This commitment was strengthened in 2010 with the formalization of the 10 Principles of Human Rights Respect, publicly reaffirmed through the company’s Commitment to the Promotion and Respect of Human Rights.
