Last Friday, October 4th, the second edition of the “Awards for Business Excellence” gala took place at the Atalaya Museum in Jerez de la Frontera. The event, organized by Rino Alquileres, Cesma Maquinaria, and the financial institution IberCaja, honored SEMI with the award for “Professional Career.”

The ceremony, hosted by Enrique Gallego, presenter for the local television channel Jerez TV, was presided over by Jesús Ruiz Menacho, director of Rino Alquileres and promoter of the awards, which aim to highlight and give visibility to the vital role of the business community as a driving force for change and societal development.

Out of more than one hundred companies that participated, and after rigorous evaluation by a specially appointed jury led by economist Rafael López Caro and jurist Carlos Parra Marín, SEMI was awarded in the “Business Career” category. Francisco Poley Ramírez, our Offers Director, accepted the award on behalf of the entire team and expressed gratitude for this esteemed recognition, accompanied by several colleagues from our Special Projects Europe delegation.

SEMI was not the only company recognized that evening. The Group Fonsén received the award in the “Job Creation” category, the Group Nimo for “Expansion,” and J. Campoamor as “Rising Company.”
