SEMI awarded a new project at Morón Air Base

SEMI has been awarded the CNS Alternate Transformer Substation project at Morón Air Base in Morón de la Frontera (Seville).

The contract includes the expansion of the existing substation and the construction of a new Air-Insulated Substation (AIS), together with a control building that will house medium-voltage, metering, and protection systems.

With this new award, the SEMI Special Projects Europe Division strengthens its presence at the base, where it has already carried out some of the most significant electrical projects in recent years, including photovoltaic installations, transformers, and the renovation of the power plant.
