We Made Changes to One of the Main Cell Towers in Cambados

We upgraded one of Cambados’ main cell towers to adapt it for 5G technology.
SEMI successfully completed a project for Vantage Towers to adapt the infrastructure for the installation of new 5G antennas.

A massive crane in the center of Cambados caught the attention of passersby. SEMI was upgrading a cell tower on a building that provides mobile coverage for several companies in the area to support 5G technology. Specifically, Vodafone, Orange, and Xfera (Más Móvil and Yoigo, among others) were involved. The work required the closure of Emilia Pardo Bazán Street but did not cause further disruptions on Avenida de Vilariño, one of the main entryways into the town and the location of the installation. Moreover, it was planned to be completed within a single day.
